Εφαρμογή της μεθόδου θερμομετρίας Ca - Mg στα μάρμαρα της Θάσου

Περίληψη


Η μέθοδος της θερμομετρίας είναι μια νέα σχετικά εφαρμοσμένη μέθοδος που βασίζεται στην σύσταση και κατ’ επέκταση την ισορροπία μεταξύ ορισμένων ορυκτών μιας παραγένεσης και στόχο έχει την εξακρίβωση της θερμοκρασίας που επικρατούσε στο στάδιο που είχε αποκατασταθεί η ισορροπία μεταξύ των υπό μελέτη ορυκτών. Πρόκειται για μια μέθοδο που επιτρέπει στους ερευνητές μιας περιοχής να προσδιορίσουν τις συνθήκες που επικράτησαν κατά τη δημιουργία ενός ορισμένου μεταμορφικού σχηματισμού.
Η γεωθερμομετρία μπορεί να διαχωριστεί σε δυο μεθόδους. Η πρώτη βασίζεται στη σύσταση...
