Περίληψη


Η παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία αφορά τη μελέτη των πλουτωνιτών στην περιοχή της Ξάνθης, της Καβάλας και της Σιθωνίας και συγκεκριμένα στη σύγκριση γεωλογικών στοιχείων αυτών των περιοχών, καθώς και των ισοτοπικών δεδομένων των πλουτωνιτών. Αναλύονται ορισμένα χαρακτηριστικά: η γεωλογία κάθε περιοχής, η πετρολογία – ορυκτολογία, η γεωχημεία, η ηλικία των πλουτωνιτών και το γεωτεκτονικό περιβάλλον. Ακόμα, γίνεται αναφορά στις μεθόδους γεωχρονολόγησης, οι οποίες χρησιμοποιήθηκαν για την εξαγωγή συμπερασμάτων σχετικά με τη γεωχρονολόγηση και τέλος η σύγκριση των ισοτοπικών δεδομένων και του γεωτεκτονικού πλαισίου των περιοχών μελέτης.

This thesis deals with the study of the plutons in the region of Xanthi, Kavala and Sithonia and specifically the comparison of geological data of these areas, as well as the isotopic data of the plutons. Some characteristics are analysed: the geology of each area, the petrology - mineralogy, the geochemistry, the age of the plutons and the geotectonic environment. Furthermore, the methods used to draw conclusions about the geochronology are discussed and finally, the comparison of the isotopic data and the geotectonic context of the study areas is presented.
