Συγκριτική μελέτη βεζουβιανιτών από τις ζώνες επαφής των πλουτωνιτών Ξάνθης και Σιθωνίας

Περίληψη


Σκοπός της παρούσας εργασίας είναι η σύγκριση των δύο βεζουβιανιτών που βρέθηκαν σε δύο διαφορετικές ζώνες επαφής. Η πρώτη δημιουργείται από τη διείσδυση του πλουτωνίτη της Ξάνθης σε μάρμαρα, ενώ η δεύτερη από τη διείσδυση του πλουτωνίτη της Σιθωνίας σε χαμηλού βαθμού μεταμορφωμένα πετρώματα. Ο πλουτωνίτης της Ξάνθης αποτελεί μέρος του μαγματισμού της μάζας της Ροδόπης, ενώ ο πλουτωνίτης της Σιθωνίας διεισδύει σε πετρώματα της Περιροδοπικής ζώνης και της Σερβομακεδονικής μάζας. Το πρώτο κεφάλαιο αποτελεί την εισαγωγή στο αντικείμενο της διπλωματικής εργασίας. Στο δεύτερο κεφάλαιο παρατίθεται η περιγραφή των γεωλογικών ζωνών που ανήκουνε οι δύο περιοχές μελέτης, της μάζας της Ροδόπης όπου διεισδύει ο πλουτωνίτης της Ξάνθης, και της Περιροδοπικής ζώνης και της Σερβομακεδονικής μάζας, όπου διεισδύει ο πλουτωνίτης της Σιθωνίας. Στο τρίτο κεφάλαιο παρουσιάζονται τα ορυκτολογικά και πετρολογικά χαρακτηριστικά, καθώς και η τεκτονική τοποθέτηση του πλουτωνίτη της Ξάνθης. Στο τέταρτο κεφάλαιο παρατίθενται τα ορυκτολογικά και πετρολογικά χαρακτηριστικά του πλουτωνίτη της Σιθωνίας. Στο πέμπτο κεφάλαιο δίνονται γενικές πληροφορίες για τη θερμική μεταμόρφωση, τις συνθήκες και τα προϊόντα που προκύπτουν από αυτή. Στο έκτο κεφάλαιο περιγράφονται οι δύο ζώνες επαφής, του πλουτωνίτη της Ξάνθης και του πλουτωνίτη της Σιθωνίας. Στο έβδομο κεφάλαιο δίνονται τα γενικά χαρακτηριστικά του βεζουβιανίτη που αφορούν την ορυκτοχημεία, την κρυσταλλική του δομή, τις φυσικές και τις οπτικές του ιδιότητες. Στο όγδοο και ένατο κεφάλαιο παρατίθενται τα χαρακτηριστικά των βεζουβιανιτών που εμφανίζονται στη ζώνη επαφής του πλουτωνίτη της Ξάνθης και του πλουτωνίτη της Σιθωνίας αντίστοιχα. Στο δέκατο κεφάλαιο γίνεται η σύγκριση των δύο βεζουβιανιτών και παρατίθενται τα συμπεράσματα της μελέτης.
