Photogrammetry is a method of determining dimensional objects by using photographs. Photogrammetry through photographic imaging, measuring and interpreting processes can provide a wealth of information and be an important tool for various scientific disciplines.
Specifically in geology, he finds numerous applications in mapping, tectonics, neotectonics, hydrogeology, technical geology, field science, volcanology and geology teaching.
There are plenty of software on the market that are capable, with ease of use, to give a complete three-dimensional model of the object-area to be studied. The purpose of this work was to show how the use of a mobile phone, a simple computer and a photogrammetric software is enough to map a small scale of a region and to create accurate 3D imaging of the entire study area.
Keywords: Photogrammetry, geology , mapping, photographs
